Saving Wild Grace is the story of how I tried to construct a life out of childhood trauma and dysfunction without so much as a hammer. I spent decades trying to outrun myself. I became skilled at surviving which wasn't the same as living. I searched for rescue through sexual relationships with men and women, believing someone else could magically save me. One morning something shifted, and I woke up in the middle of my life. I finally asked the question that changed everything: Could I be a sex addict? Through recovery, I began disassembling my broken belief system. I discovered that healing requires brutal self-honesty, a hell of a lot of courage, and the ability to laugh at myself. For more than twenty years, I have walked beside women struggling with sex addiction, witnessing heartbreak and the miracle of watching lives, families, and lineages transform. Wild Grace is told with ruthless honesty and humor. It is the story of how I started with a tiny candle and learned to nurture that growing flame so I could help light the way for the women who came after me. This book is raw and involves some abusive and triggering scenes.
