Big-Boned

You were never too much. You were never not enough. BIG-BONED is a raw, heartfelt memoir that lays bare the realities of eating disorders, body image struggles, and the messy, non-linear path to self-worth.

With unflinching honesty and a touch of humor, Lauren Hankins shares her deeply personal journey—from childhood insecurities and diet culture traps to the exhausting cycle of binge eating, restriction, and self-loathing.

But this isn't just a story about pain. It's a story about breaking free. Through relapses, revelations, and the slow climb toward healing, Lauren explores what it means to live in the gray—the space between perfection and collapse, where real growth happens.

For anyone battling food, their body, or their inner critic, BIG-BONED is a lifeline. It's a reminder that recovery is possible, that healing is messy, and that peace doesn't come from control. It comes from letting go.

If you've ever wondered whether you're "too big" to be happy or "too broken" to heal, this book was written for you.
