Sweetly Obsessed

LOLA

The only thing worse than embarrassing yourself in front of a hot guy in an elevator? Finding out he’s your new boss. And just when I think it can’t get worse… it does.

Enzo isn’t just my new boss—he’s someone from my past. The son of the man who destroyed my father’s life. I should hate him. I want to hate him. But my stupid heart won’t cooperate, and my brain keeps replaying one disastrous elevator encounter on a loop.

At least I have Mr. Wrong Number. It started with an accidental text months ago, then turned into late-night conversations, inside jokes, comfort I didn’t expect. He’s the distraction I need. The escape I cling to. Anything to forget Enzo Romano for a while.

ENZO

Lola thinks it’s a coincidence I’m back in her life, but I’ve never left.

I’ve been watching her, protecting her, obsessing over her for years. Every step she’s taken, every choice she’s made… I’ve been there in the shadows.

Even the mystery guy she’s been texting? Yeah. That’s me. She’d kill me if she knew.

Just like she’d kill me if she understood how deeply I’ve carved myself into her world, how far I’ve gone to keep her safe. Because danger is circling her again—and I’m the only one ruthless enough to stop it.

I’ll burn the world before I let anything touch her. I’ll do whatever it takes. Even if it destroys me.

Sweetly Obsessed is Book 1 of Enzo and Lola’s story in the Devoted in the Darkness Duet Two—delivering a stalker-obsessed MMC, a forbidden romance born from shared betrayal, and the dangerously addictive pull of a man who’s been in her shadow for years. Their story continues in Beautifully Twisted.

While this duet is part of the Devoted in the Darkness world, you don’t need to listen to the first duet—Enzo and Lola’s arc is complete and self-contained.
