One Last Request

Sometimes, goodbye is just the beginning.

From Natalie Cooper, bestselling author of YOU, AGAIN, comes a novel about grief, guilt, and the love that refuses to let go — for fans of Josie Silver and P.S. I Love You, narrated by Ella Bruccoleri (The Other Bennett Sister) and Michael Socha (This is England)

Grace Morgan hasn't returned to Hayford in twenty years. Not since the accident that shattered her world. Not since she walked away from Jonas Scott—the boy she loved more than life itself—without saying goodbye.

But when Sam, the friend who survived alongside them, passes away, his final wish brings Grace and Jonas back together for one last hike along the Limestone Way. Four days. Forty-six miles. And a trail haunted by the ghosts of their past.

As they retrace the steps of their youth, scattering Sam's ashes at the places that meant the most, old wounds resurface and long-buried secrets threaten to unravel everything. Because Grace has been carrying a truth for two decades—one that could either heal them or destroy what little remains. With each mile, Grace and Jonas must confront not only what they lost, but what they've been too afraid to fight for.

Can they find their way back to each other? Or are some paths impossible to retrace?
