Musical Romance

When composer David Marsh and lyricist Kendal Chen decide to transform Sheridan's

*The School for Scandal* into an audacious musical, they discover an extraordinary talent in a Juilliard workshop: Austin Mason, a gifted young singer-actor with an instinctive understanding of character and emotion.

As Austin steps into the lead role of their ambitious off-Broadway production, he meets Hunter, a charismatic ensemble member whose voice and artistry complement his own in unexpected ways. What begins as artistic collaboration ignites into something deeper—a connection so authentic and electric that it transforms not only their performances but the entire show.

When their duet becomes the heart of the musical and captures the attention of Broadway, Austin and Hunter must navigate the complexities of falling in love in the public eye while staying true to their art. But their story doesn't end on opening night. Years later, working alongside their mentors Marcus and David, they'll create something entirely new: a whimsical, heartfelt musical about a gay trumpet-playing dog and a singing cat that proves the most authentic love stories—whether between people or characters—come from artists brave enough to be completely, vulnerably themselves.

A celebration of art, love, and the magic that happens when talented people collaborate with their whole hearts.
