Mirror Mage

It turns out sorcerers are real. But Im the only one who can reflect their magic.

After I stopped two dirtbags who tried to abduct a woman from my store, I expected to spend the night talking to the cops before going home to an empty apartment. Instead I found out magic was real, gods like Quetzalcoatl are real, and anyone who tries to cast magic at me gets it bounced back in their face.

It turns out Im a magi, aka a sorcerer, and a disciple of an otherworldly god that no one has seen in decades. After I learn my hot-tempered childhood friend is a magi as well, shes now in the crosshairs of serpent-worshipping Aztec cultists, and she has a serious crush on me, I have only one choice.

To join Molly at her magic preparatory school/military academy, worship my idol to gain new spells, and become powerful enough that no magi in the world can ever harm me or anyone I care about.
