Michael Greco intends to make sure they never get a second chance.

As head of security for one of Chicago’s most powerful mafia families, Michael has built his life around protecting other people. He’s controlled, dangerous, and always on call. The last thing he needs is the sharp-tongued omega he’s been ordered to keep safe getting under his skin.

Luca has no intention of hiding while someone else runs his life. His restaurant is his own, his family is complicated enough already, and he definitely doesn’t need an overprotective alpha deciding what’s best for him.

Unfortunately, being trapped under the same roof makes ignoring their attraction impossible.

One kiss becomes something neither of them can dismiss. Desire turns into a mating bond neither expected, and when Luca discovers he’s pregnant, Michael finally has everything he never let himself believe he could have.

But the attack on Luca wasn’t random.

Someone inside the DeSantis family has been hiding a dangerous secret—and they’re willing to kill to keep it buried.

Michael has spent his entire life protecting everyone else’s home.

Now he’ll do anything to protect his own.
