Halo

She broke my heart. Now she's famous and sworn to keep me safe… even if I hate her.

Evie

My ex–best friend and first love is a global pop star. I work late shifts at my hometown diner. Avoiding Kaia Rhee should be easy… until a demon crawls out of the TV and tries to kill me.

Kaia bursts through the back door, glowing and lethal, and saves my life. Now I'm marked, gagged by a magical NDA, and forced to play nice while her magical girl group uses my diner as a warded monitoring post.

The worst part? Kaia Rhee is the one girl I never got over—and she's suddenly impossible to escape.

Kaia

The world sees a perfectly packaged pop star. They don't know I hunt demons too.

Coming home is supposed to be strategy: contain the Chorus before the Harbor Lights Festival turns my hometown into a feeding frenzy. Instead, the first civilian I save is Evelyn Calder—the one person I never stopped missing, and the one person with every reason to hate me.

I can't rewrite our past. But I can keep her alive. And if earning her forgiveness takes blood, truth, and a few catastrophically timed almost-kisses? Fine.

Because this time, I'm not leaving without Evie.

Halo is a sapphic magical girl pop idol romantasy with a complete HEA for its central couple. It's the first book in Halo Hearts, a series of interconnected romances linked by an overarching conflict. They are best enjoyed in order.

Some tropes you'll find inside: second chance; childhood best friends; forced proximity; sword lesbians; sapphic yearning; touch her and die; slow burn; femme/femme; spicy.
