Critical Failures

“The Critical Failures books are some of the funniest LitRPG books I've ever read.”—Matt Dinniman, author of Dungeon Crawler Carl

They weren’t chosen.

They weren’t heroes.

They weren’t even particularly bright.

But they were assholes.

When a group of dysfunctional idiots gets dragged into a fantasy RPG, they don’t become heroes. They become everyone else’s problem.

Trapped in a world of magic, monsters, and a game master who’s had enough of their shit, Tim, Dave, Julian, and Cooper have to survive.

Using the only skills they actually have: Bad decisions.

Petty arguments.

Zero impulse control.

If you’re looking for noble heroes, epic destiny, and clean fantasy adventure…This isn’t that.

Not even close.

This is what happens when the worst possible players get trapped inside the game.

Party-based fantasy adventure… if the party hates each other

Real RPG mechanics… abused in the dumbest ways possible

A game master who absolutely will screw them over

Crude humor. Offensive jokes. They piss off everything that moves.

They fail upward.

And somehow… they keep surviving.

What if you and your friends actually had to live inside the game?

And worse…What if you turned out to be terrible at it?

Would you survive?

Or would you be just as screwed?
