Cat Lady

Laura Babler is not the adventurous type, she prefers to know exactly what’s coming. So when she’s forced to drive cross-country to her own wedding—alone, anxious, and scared shitless of the autobahn—she’s already far outside her comfort zone. Then she meets Sir Cat.

A dramatic, scruffy black cat out for revenge derails her journey before it even starts. Her simple overnight road trip spirals out of control, with one disaster leading to another, and the duo find themselves stranded in the middle of nowhere. With the world seemingly conspiring against Laura at every turn, she finds herself relying more and more on her unlikely companion.

Somewhere between being chased by pitchfork-wielding farmers and a certain someone’s claws tearing up her wedding dress, Laura begins to wonder if the detours might be leading her exactly where she needs to go.

Heartfelt, funny, and full of surprises, Cat Lady is a story about a people-pleasing woman and a stubbornly opinionated cat whose lives might just have intersected at the most perfect time.
