Before Sorry

I promised myself I was done with Nathan Fiske.

Then my parents moved us to his hometown.

Apparently, the universe has jokes.

Now I see him everywhere.

In the hallways. At football games. Across classrooms where pretending not to look somehow hurts even more than looking.

He acts like everything between us is normal.

Like my heart never shattered.

Like summers don't leave scars.

Then his older brother starts noticing me.

Matthew has always been impossible to ignore, but suddenly he's impossible to avoid.

And the last thing I need is another Fiske brother turning my life upside down.

Because falling for one brother was hard enough.

I don't think my heart could survive two.
